Arowana are truly stunning fish and not seen very often. They are firm favorites in Asian countries. Arowana are probably most often encountered in the UK in your local Chinese, Thai or other asian style restaurant. Large fish in a large tank, often solitary or perhaps just two fish, patrolling. They are always microchipped, a Cites requirement and our detect-a-chip, Universal scanner will read the 10 digit chip often used for arowana by Asian fish farms.
We also supply the scanner with a 'probe' arm (see image below) so that the fish can be read in the tank if necessary thereby saving the fish the stress and trauma of being caught and taken out of the water.
